As for the new boot screen in Windows Developer Preview, it got on my nerves more quickly than a loading bar does. A Vista-izeTM me function which sets some defaults to have a more Vista-like look - Explorer background bitmaps can now be included as part of the skin, - Edit the system colors from WindowBlinds - Change skin fonts from WindowBlinds - Control transparency and blur on start menu, menus, taskbar & window frames. Plus, the Windows Vista logo animates faster than the Windows 7 version. (version 5.5) that will work with vista so you can use other themes. also there is the new windowblinds comming out.
